Who am i?
Hey, Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Beau Scheepens, 25 years old and living in Amsterdam. I am currently in the final year of my commercial economics studies, with a major in entrepreneurship. From a young age, I have always had a passion for entrepreneurship. With a lot of curiosity, energy, perseverance, and passion I embarked on the adventure to develop myself as an entrepreneur.
For me, entrepreneurship is creating order out of chaos. As an entrepreneur, you are an all-rounder, involved in many different parts of a company. This rapidly changing and dynamic role will never bore me, precisely because there is always something new to discover. This is why i love that entrepreneurial mindset.
As an entrepreneur you cannot escape the responsibility, your success is directly in line with the results of your business and team. How you play this game and how you develop yourself, is for me personally the best challenge there is. Not only to bring your company or project to a success, but above all to grow as a person and to go that extra mile every day.
What can i do?
During my studies, we paid a lot of attention to various business and marketing cases. For example, during my 2nd year, I had to set up my own company and I followed a program at a startup accelerator. During my 3rd year, I did my internship at a tech startup accelerator specialized in internationalization and globalization.
In the second part of my 3rd year, I went to Bangkok for half a year during an exchange project to further deepen myself in content marketing. During this period I followed various courses such as digital marketing, consumer behavior, and photography. Following this study, I am an honors student. For this program, I followed extra modules with a deepening in sustainable entrepreneurship, branding, and change management.
In addition to my regular study, I followed various courses to further deepen myself in growth marketing, content marketing, copywriting, and SEO. By nature, I have a massive drive to learn and am interested in many different topics such as entrepreneurship, economics, globalization, psychology, and content marketing.
My personality
I am often someone who is very enterprising, independent and eager to learn. I like working in groups to come up with new ideas. I also love to see the end result of your idea becoming successful. As a person, I am someone who has a lame sense of humor. In general I am often calm, unless I am enthusiastic about something then I am very energetic.

What do i want?
I am ambitious and motivated and like to push myself to the limit every day. In my professional career, I also expect the best of myself. My ambition for the coming years is to also obtain a Master’s degree after I graduated for my bachelor’s degree. Preferably a Master’s degree abroad to gain international experience.
My ambition is to further develop my projects and companies in the coming years until it is an absolute success. I know from myself that I have a wide range of interests, which makes me happy to combine my future job with my companies and projects. In the coming years, I hope to find the ideal balance between acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge, by properly combining my studies, business and work.
For me personally it is important to be able to work independently, remotely and flexibel. I love traveling, so the perfect life for me is when i can work and travel at the same time.

As an independent entrepreneur i help your company score better with market research and insight into trends and developments.
It is becoming increasingly important for marketers to understand content marketing and to know how to use it effectively. The key driver of inbound marketing is ‘consumer intent’ as potential customers actively seek out the brand’s content. As a result, the consumers are more engaged and open to taking action than if the brand were to communicate with them when they are not actively interested.
